"Racines" is a soul-inspired album, the fruit of its author's closeness to nature and moments of deep reflection. This is hardly a surprise. Indeed, music and nature are two elements that have marked composer Olivier Chavet since his childhood, both privately and professionally.

This Belgian, born in Aachen, combined studies in music and agronomy. He knows from his day-to-day experience in these two fields that everything connects, like a network of roots.

"Racines" is therefore the artistic translation of the themes that interest Olivier Chavet as a farmer and friend of nature. The nine songs on the new album express his nostalgia for a simple life, centered on nature. The root, the anchor of all life, symbolizes the cohesion we all so desperately need. Starting from a moment of absolute calm, the work takes us on a sublime journey towards powerful musical expression, offering us a multitude of groovy, well-paced pieces.
