Saxophonist “resolutely lyrical, with a personal approach, and whose inspiration draws less from his elders than from his own imagination” (JazzTimes), Jérôme Sabbagh, has lived in New York since 1995. He has recorded 8 remarkable records as a leader , with notably B. Monder, B. Street, R. Green, D. Humair and R. Royston.
He was also one of the last saxophonists of Paul Motian, with whom he performed for a week at the Village Vanguard in New York. He comes to present his new album ‘Vintage’ (recorded with the legendary pianist Kenny Barron), with an all-stars consisting of Danny Grissett, Joe Martin and Kayvon Gordon.
