Bassist Yannick Peeters is bringing her project GingerBlackGinger on a new track. The band first played together in the summer of 2020, followed by another set in January 2022. Although the lineup has since changed slightly, the goal remains unchanged : the band is in search of music that jettisons all unnecessary ballast and focuses entirely on a sound that is as bold as it is authentic. Rawness, fragility, lyricism, originality and integrity go hand in hand. Yannick surrounds herself with three sounding names from the jazz world : Frederik Leroux and Frans Van Isacker are the partners in crime, master drummer Tom Rainey completes the quartet.
