Mette Henriette is a Sami-Norwegian saxophonist, improviser and composer. Her music ranges from free jazz to contemporary folk-inspired music. Her diverse approach represents the exciting eclecticism of the new Norwegian jazz scene. In 2015, she became the first artist to release a double debut album on the ECM label. At this concert, she will present part of her upcoming second album, Drifting.
