Hendrik Lasure and Casper Van De Velde were still teenagers without a driver's license when they took the Belgian jazz scene by storm. Since then, they have been awfully busy and became much-respected musicians. They resolutely follow their muse, even if it takes them far outside the jazz tradition. schntzl excels in balancing acts that combine post-classical music with electronics, dream-pop and whispered musings that offer unexpected glimpses of sheer beauty.
