The OpenCountry project is an international band featuring :

Belgo-Irish versatile guitarist , singer and mandolin player Frankie Rose (played with Cuban band Moncada, Chilian Band Machitun, Brazilian artist Xoro Rojo and Daniel Miranda Worked with is brother Perry Rose folk-rock band ,active in Jazz, fusion and blues as well as in traditionnal Irish music).

Italian tasty guitar player Roberto Di Ferdinando based in Belgium ( Roberto has worked for many artist in jazz, latin and pop music including Belgian blues singer William Dunker and Canadian artist Jeff Smallwood).

Belgian great bass and doublebass player now living in New-York Nicholas Thys : Nic has worked with many jazz artist including Toots Thielemans and Lee konitz or for world –pop artist Zap Mama.

American World class and eclectic drummer Dan Rieser his credits includes Marcy Playground , Norah Jones, Madeleine Peyroux and The Little Willies.

Their music is touching, vibrant yet relaxed and funny, there's many influences and styles.
On their alb ym "Brotherhood", they will take you from folk and country (Il Barcayolo, Blues For Bill) to a Brazilian baion (Mimi te quiero) to far out blues (Kletman from chicholand) and a wonderful and inspired waltz (Inner Peace)an emotional theme (Spartakiste) or a Metheny influence song (I feel fine) and a cover from bob Dylan in 5/8 time.
