Robert Jukic Mild Breeze

Mild Breeze is a contemporary jazz trio bringing together three distinctive voices of the European improvised music scene: Robert Jukic (double bass), Bram De Looze (piano), and Kristijan Krajnčan (drums and cello).

Formed around Robert Jukic's original compositions, the trio explores a lyrical and deeply expressive musical language where composition and spontaneous interpretation exist in perfect balance. Their sound moves effortlessly between the energy of the classic piano trio and the intimate, chamber-like textures of the piano–cello–double bass formation, creating a rich and constantly evolving sonic landscape.

The ensemble's debut album, Mild Breeze with Hints of Love Lost, presents sixteen original compositions inspired by human nature, the human condition, and the complexities of relationships. Recorded in a single day without rehearsals at Italy's renowned Artesuono Studio with acclaimed recording engineer Stefano Amerio, the music captures the freshness and authenticity of first encounters. Together with Robert Jukic's haikus and the original artwork of Tinka Mesec Tomazin, the trio's music forms a multidisciplinary artistic experience that invites listeners into a world of reflection, intimacy, and emotional depth.
