Founded in the mid fifties by clarinet player Pierre Claessens, this band was the first to introduced the authentic sound of the pure New Orleans music to Flanders, in Ghent.

They have made many records, internationally known. Among them are recording sessions with Keith Smith, Colin Dawson, Keny Colyer, and Wendell Brunious from New Orleans.
