The Lopers

The jazz quartet "The Lopers" led by saxophonist Julien Delbrouck wants to help you (re)discover the jazz alto saxophone repertoire of the 1930s-1960s.

We will have the joy of hearing compositions or pieces from the repertoire of the big names of the time such as: Benny Carter, Charlie Parker, Paul Desmond, Art Pepper, Cannonball Adderley...

But it will also be an opportunity to bring lesser-known friends like Sonny Red and Herb Geller out of the shadows.

In addition to that, Julien Delbrouck will also leave some pieces of his own lying around.

To do this we needed a great rhythm section!
We will therefore have the privilege of having Mathieu De Wit on piano, Max Malkomes on double bass and the irreplaceable Laurent Vigneron on drums.

A wind of swing and bebop will float throughout the walk, from strolls to fast-tempo.
