The quartet presents a repertoire of modern jazz, for the most part composed of original material written by Bert Joris.
The four players are first rate soloists, the rhythm section cooks, and the music offers contrasting moments of intensive swing and subtle lyricism, some bluesy colours and plenty of room for interaction.
