BAM! trio
Although they met several years ago at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, it wasn't until 2017, when Maxime Moyaerts started playing the Hammond organ, that they decided to form a trio project.
The chemistry developed quickly, and in June 2017, the trio was booked by the Sounds Jazz Club for a monthly residency. It was on the stage of this legendary jazz club that the group found its footing.
After recording a demo and performing in various clubs, bars, and concert halls, the trio decided to invite several renowned musicians, one by one, with the aim of sharing the stage and pushing their music even further. This led to collaborations with Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, Guy Cabay, among others.
BAM! Trio continues to explore on stage the iconic sound of the Hammond organ, guitar, and drums.
Their debut album, titled "ONE," was released in 2021 and, thanks to its original repertoire, allowed them to perform at numerous festivals (Mithra Jazz in Liège, Dinant Jazz Weekends, Gouvy Jazz Festival, Jazz au Broukay, Hasselt in the Mood, Jazz in het park Arschoodt...).
BAM! Trio also took part in the Jazz Tour organized by Les Lundis d'Hortense, performing throughout Wallonia and Brussels.
They released a second album entitled “Keep It Simple”, released in November 2024, with guest Bart Defoort on tenor saxophone.
Stay tuned!
