Gowk started in 2007 as an initiativ of Belgian drummer, Teun Verbruggen (known from his work with Othin Spake, Flat Earth Society, Jef Neve, VVG Trio... All members are very active in the belgian and international jazzscene. The mix of this personnel results in a very fresh- accoustik improvisation band, experimenting with a lot of styles. Gowk is mostly playing songs of its members and free improv.
