Daniele Esposito (b. 1976, Naples, Italy) began playing electric bass at the age of 13, switching to double bass at 17. He studied the instrument with Aldo Vigorito, Furio di Castri and Gary Peacock, and has performed at numerous jazz festivals and toured Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Syria, Kosovo, Albania, Belgium and France.
His first album features a solo performance on his favorite instrument, the double bass, demonstrating its infinite possibilities and undeniable poetry. In 11 successive pieces, Daniele sketches out the sometimes vivid, more lascivious emotions offered by this instrument, whose limits have yet to be explored.
