"Spirit One: Clarity" is the first part of a triptych entitled "Spirit", three inseparable albums to be released by Igloo. "Spirit One: Clarity" is a project freely inspired by the sound world of Chet Baker, who deeply influenced the saxophonist. The result? A series of personal, intensely melodic compositions written in this spirit.
With Jean-Louis Rassinfosse on double bass, Nicola Andrioli on piano, Mimi Verderame and Armando Luongo on drums and Philip Catherine on guitar, Fabrice Alleman takes us into a world of melodies that we feel we have always known, with a rare sensitivity and depth.
