Krewe du Belge is a fanfare that animates outdoor parties, streets, halls and blows a popular atmosphere. Thank you to the band for having engraved these musics which give the smile and the enthusiasm. They are eight and even nine on three pieces. Vanessa Tanghe (piano) and Christophe Mercier (trombone) are the captains of this boat which sails through the streets of Brussels like the "crews" did in New Orleans. We find there Olivier Deleuze, yes, the mayor of Watermael-Boitsfort, Michel Massot and his sousaphone, Stéphane Mercier on the three songs in question. The album is called From Brussels to New Orleans and incorporates different music that is played today in New Orleans: jazz, funk, rock, R&B, rap and Cuban rhythms. But the Krewe made it something typically Belgian: lyrics in French, covers of Grand Jojo, Plastic Bertrand and Arno, typical songs like Parc Duden Blues. It's funny, amusing and sometimes demanding.

Krewe du Belge's first studio album. 9 track album, 100% in French. Crowdfunding. Booklet with lyrics included. Recorded at Pyramid studio in November 2022.
