The idea of this seven-track album is to tell in music the emotions felt, the moments of life which mark us. But it is also a personal need to find back the enjoyment, the fun. Expose our vulnerability and inject a poetic dimension into a style sometimes perceived as very technical. We want to evolve towards a more rhythmic, more illustrative jazz. The identity of SH Group resides in emotional writing.
This album features:
Pierre-Antoine Savoyat on trumpet, Jonas Le Roy on saxophone, Mattéo di Leonardo on guitar, Niklas Von Werne on drums. Sébastien Hugue wrote the compositions and played the double bass.
Iguaran String Quartet is composed of:
Elizabeth Agudelo on first violin, Joana Revez Mendonça on second violin, Paula Cirmi Obon on viola and Ana Maria Velasco Rodriguez on cello.
