The course is open to all musicians aged 14 and over who have a good command of their instrument and wish to broaden their musical horizons, or who are keen to discover or refine their jazz performance skills.
The days will be divided into three parts: Instrument lessons: individual or small group lessons depending on the discipline Ensemble lessons: 2 hours per day Optional group lessons: harmony, rhythm, history and culture, free improvisation, group singing, duets, etc.
Lunches are not organised by the ASBL. Participants may bring a packed lunch or buy a snack, sandwich, soup, etc. in the immediate vicinity of the Music Academy.
In the evening, there will be a jam session after dinner at the boarding house. A list of standards will be provided before the course.
