Organised by the non-profit organisation Summer Productions in collaboration with the Jodoigne Music Academy, the Town of Jodoigne and the Beauvechain Cultural Centre.

Programme

The course is open to all musicians aged 14 and over who have a good command of their instrument and wish to broaden their musical horizons or are keen to discover or refine their jazz performance skills.

Each day will be divided into three parts:

- Instrumental lessons: individual or small group lessons depending on the discipline

- Ensemble lessons: 2 hours per day

- Optional group lessons: harmony, rhythm, free improvisation, group singing, aural training, vocal improvisation, duets, listening exercises…

Lunches are not provided by the non-profit organisation. You can have a picnic or buy a snack, sandwich, soup, etc. in the immediate vicinity of the Music Academy.

The course begins on Sunday 5 July at 11.00 am and ends on Friday 10 July with the final recital.

In the evening, there will be a jam session after dinner at the boarding house. This is reserved for course participants on the first two evenings.

Registration details

The course fee is €410 (€390 for students of the Jodoigne Music Academy). The course fee including accommodation and half-board (breakfast and dinner) is €640.

Once a place has been confirmed, payment of a deposit of 160 euros into the account BE 04 0358 3054 2131 held by Summer Productions ASBL, with the reference ‘deposit for 2026 jazz course’ and the participant’s name, will confirm your registration. 

The balance is due by Friday 17 June and will serve as confirmation of your place.
