Théâtre Molière - Muziekpublique

Muziekpublique is a non-profit organisation that defends and promotes traditional music from all cultures of the world, especially those related to acoustic, folk, traditional, popular, mixed, classical, jazz and "nu:trad" music. This work is carried out in three ways.

- The organisation of about a hundred concerts a year as well as festivals

- An academy that offers more than fifty instrument and dance courses

- The production of CDs and the management and booking of artists through the label.

The programming is based on quality rather than fame. Thus, some big names follow one another on the stage, but also lesser-known talents whose work is nevertheless of equivalent quality. A great deal of work is done on a daily basis to network and connect with musicians from the various communities in Brussels and Belgium, in order to expand the network and encourage artistic encounters. Muziekpublique has established itself over the last few years as a key player in the trad and folk music sector.
