Clive started out as a self-taught guitarist. At the age of 18, he joined the Antwerp Jazz Studio. He went on to study electric bass at the Brussels Royal Conservatoire. His teachers included the brilliant Belgian musicians Michel Hatzigeogiou, Eric Legnini and Jean-Louis Rassinfosse.

His passion for music and his talent have enabled him to take part in a number of projects and to play alongside a host of well-known artists, including Breakbot, Oumou Sangare, Toure Kunda and Dobet Gnahore, as well as Carla Bruni (French pop), Martha High and Zap Mama.

He has also taken part in the Saint-Jazz festival in Brussels on several occasions with his own projects, including ‘The Kaze’ in 2020.
