'87-'89: guitar lessons at the Antwerp Jazz Studio with Peter Hertmans.
'88 -'89: Jazz Section at the Conservatoire Royal of Brussels, guitar lessons with Paolo Radoni.
Co-founder of Carré Bleu, Blue Square (1st price for best group of Brussels jazz, organised by " les Tréteaux de Bruxelles" in 1988) and Blue Square Octet, before forming his own combo with which he plays his own original compositions alongside Bilou Doneux, Otti Vanderwerf and Bart Defoort.
Among other, he participated in a tour in Africa, "STOP-AIDS" in Rwanda in 1990, Jazz Festival in Ostende 91, Jazz Rally of Dusseldorf Aug. 95.
He plays with the band Colourcity.
