Francis Cromphout, autor compositor, vocalist and saxophonist. He studied saxophone and musical theory at the Ghent Conservatory, piano and vocals at a Ghent Academy. He played with the Latin-Jazz group "Friends" (later "Café con leche") who played on the Middelheim Jazz Festival. He was the frontman and leader of "Cuisine Cajun" who played on many festivals in Belgium, Netherland and Germany. CD "Le Grand Dérangement". He did a "tour de chant" with songs of Boris Vian "En aVian la Zizique". He plays saxophone and sings with his duo "Barrio Latino". His last CD "De Nacht Betrapt ('the Night Caught") was recorded with among others the bandoneonist Dick van der harst and tells 12 own compositions.
