In the fusion and jazz rock context, he led the EM Radical Trio, with a.o. Bart De Nolf (bass), Toni Vitacolonna (drs), Theo De Jong (bass) and Mimi Verderame (drs).
He toured in duo with guitarist Patrick Deltenre, with whom he formed "What a wonderful Toots", a quartet (with Bart De Nolf on bass and Bruno Castellucci on drums), which plays a tribute to the legendary musician and released an album.
