Nele Uyttendaele

Nele Uyttendaele (°1997, Aalst) is a singer, bassist, teacher and songwriter who combines her musical talents with a profound passion for jazz and pop. In 2024, she earned a Master's degree in Jazz Singing from LUCA School of Arts in Leuven, laying a solid foundation for her career. Her musical influences range from Selah Sue and Amy Winehouse to Ella Fitzgerald, Sheila Jordan, and Norma Winstone. Her warm and inspiring voice effortlessly navigates various genres.


During her studies, Nele discovered her passion for performing in a duo. In her project 'Nele Uyttendaele & Daan Jacob Jazzduo,' she explores the possibilities that the interplay between voice and instrument offers within jazz. Guided by her voice, she creates a harmonious dialogue, providing an intimate and captivating listening experience.


Nele also brings her musicality to special moments in life. She provides music for weddings, ceremonies, church services, and funerals, adding an extra dimension to these occasions with her voice and performance. She also provides the perfect music to enliven corporate events or receptions.

Throughout her studies, Nele developed her own music projects and refined her unique style. She has performed at several prominent festivals and venues, including Suikerrock, Leuven Jazz, and Jazzathome, where she consistently enchants audiences.
