Jean Kesteman

Jean Kesteman played several instruments (saxophones, flute, clarinet) and played with several Belgian bands in the post WW2 era.
In 1967, he appears on the album "Fats Sadi with the Jump College Ochestra, stereo a gogo, volume V", recorded with Janot Morales, Jules Van Dijck, Emile Peiffer, Jean Van Landen (trumpets), Albert Mertens, Frans Van Dijck, Roger Squinquel, Nick Frerar (trombones), Jacky June (soprano sax), Marcel Denies (alto sax, clarinet), André Coel (alto sax, clarinet, flute), Raymond Bonnet (tenor sax, clarinet, flute), Henri Solbach (bari sax, clarinet), Johnny Dell (piano), Johnny Hot (born 1932) (piano, solo), Paul Karthy (guitar), Fats Sadi (vibes, bongos), Paul Dubois (born 1924) (double bass), Freddy Rottier (1926–1995) (drums).

He played and recorded a.o. with the Johnny Dover Sax Combination (he appears on the "Mainstream" album, released in 1990).

He also was a composer (a.o. for big band) : some of his compositions : Odd jobs, Railway boogie, Samy soul, etc...
