JAZZ MUSICIANS, APPLY FOR THE 2027–2028 SEASON!

Dear musician, JazzLab is taking a new direction.

The Belgian jazz scene is thriving. Your creativity and ambition are greater than ever. But the challenges both on and off stage are also becoming more complex: complicated funding regulations, fair remuneration, the difficulty of gaining access to national and international venues, and so on.

To address the challenges faced by artists in a more comprehensive way, JazzLab is adjusting its course. We are evolving from purely promoting performances (tours) to becoming a versatile support platform, within a network comprising nine leading Flemish and Brussels jazz venues and the record label W.E.R.F. Records. Together, we throw our weight behind a selection of artists and productions every year.

What can you submit as an application?

• Your current band or a new band
• A unique project you wish to realise
• A musical exploration
• A record label, production company, etc., seeking a prominent place on the scene.

The possibilities are endless. However, every project must lead to a final result that can be presented to an audience.
