Call for applications: Artist residency at Rataplan

Become Artist in Residence at Rataplan !

Rataplan is looking for musical talent with a unique approach to jazz. Residencies are available from mid-September 2026 to early June 2027, with five days of financial compensation and tailored support. The residency week will be planned in mutual consultation.

Who can apply ? Up-and-coming, musical, professional talent with a unique approach to jazz. Mid-career musicians who collaborate across generations on surprising and adventurous projects that enrich the jazz scene.

Rataplan compiles a longlist of 10 artists from the applications and submits it to an external jury. The jury consists of external music partners and artists. The jury selects 4 artists/collectives from the longlist.
