Kris Defoort's latest opera, "The Time of Our Singing", is considered for next year's GRAMMYs® in the 'OPERA RECORDING' category.

The Time of Our Singing – Opera in Three Acts by Kris Defoort - is bsed on the novel by Richard Powers. It is a powerful reflection on race, identity and music in postwar America.
