Kin Gajo wins the 'Jong Jazz Talent Gent 2024' competition.

The news has just broken: the winner of the 'Jong Jazztalent Gent 2024' is the trio 'kin gajo'.

Made up of saxophonist Werend Van Den Bossche, accordionist Stan Maris and drummer Tom Peeters, their music, characterised by bewitching rhythms and melodies, won over the jury and the public.

As a result, they have won a substantial cash prize and a place on the Gent Jazz stage next year. Kin Gajo is the first name on the 2025 line-up.
