Call for artists for Jazz Up! Europe 2024

Jazz Up! Europe, a new scheme being developed by Nancy Jazz Pulsations in 2022, is the very first professional convention dedicated to artists and professionals who make and support the new wave of jazz that has been emerging in recent years: an "up tempo" jazz that blends jazz harmonies with sounds and rhythms from contemporary music (hip hop, electronic music, rock, Afrobeat or nu-soul). NJP's aim is to provide a springboard for European artists.

The "Jazz Up! Europe" operation will take place in 6 phases:

1/ Call for applications > from 09 April to 21 July 2024 inclusive.

2/ Selection of the 6 groups chosen for the showcases > from 21 July to 28 August 2024 inclusive.

3/ Announcement of the 6 selected groups on 1 September 2024.

4/ Convention and showcases from 10 to 11 October 2024.

5/ Selection of the final winner for the 2024 edition following the Jazz Up! Europe competition.

6/ Support for the winner during the 6 months following the selection, thanks to the involvement of the members of the jury (concert broadcasting, legal, promotional and strategic advice, networking, etc.).
