Open Jazz Festival 2026

The 26th edition of the Open Jazz Festival is back!

Once again, we’re here to prove that jazz doesn’t belong in elevators! From classic jazz to electro jazz, including alternative jazz, blues, swing, jazz fusion, and soul, contemporary jazz culture will be showcased like never before. Since its creation in 2000, the Open Jazz Festival has continually reinvented itself alongside the emergence of new styles in the Belgian cultural scene. No more limiting ourselves to piano, bass, and saxophone trios!

Throughout the festival week, different musical genres and themes will intertwine, allowing the audience to explore the full diversity of jazz. Each evening will be dedicated to a particular style, offering something for even the most curious minds!

This year, the 26th edition will take place at the Ferme du Biéreau, from 16 to 20 February 2026, for a full week of concerts with two professional performances per evening. But that’s not all! Every night will conclude with a jam session, offering everyone a chance to explore their musical creativity on stage. This Néo-Louvain cultural event offers a true showcase of various jazz styles from Belgium and beyond. So maybe, "The New Wave of Belgian Jazz" will have no more secrets for you!
