‘Lucide et serein’ (IGLOO, IGL 407)

Three musicians, three unique journeys, bring to life an album that blends rigorous compositions, subtle arrangements and complete improvisation

At the crossroads of jazz and chamber music, the A.M.E. trio charts a course where structure gives way to improvisation, inviting the listener to lose themselves in the soundscape.

Working side by side at the helm of the project and as equal composers, they explore together, bringing to life a rich and surprising musical language.

This album captures the essence of their rapport through studio sessions and live recordings that bear witness to the many facets of their musical world. The music does not reveal itself instantly, but transports the listener from the depths of murky waters to suspended, lucid and serene heights.
