Martijn Vanbuel is best known as a bassist for artists such as Tim Finoulst and Amber Haddad, but behind the scenes he is a passionate keyboardist: the piano, organ and accordion are second nature to him. Most of his compositions are created at the keyboard. When it turned out that the celebrated jazz pianist Bram Weijters was his neighbour, the two musicians discovered a unique chemistry. They sat down together at the piano and developed a repertoire of original works, written especially for quatre-mains.
Their style is a captivating blend of jazz, world music, post-rock, classical and neoclassical, always leaving room for spontaneous improvisation. This versatile and surprising collaboration offers a fresh, artistic experience for any stage.
