The spark was ignited when saxophonist Leo Teughels experienced the sheer thrill of improvising live alongside a DJ, amidst the dynamism of a bustling dance floor. That initial spark inspired a passion for a new sound: a sophisticated cocktail of jazz, dance and seductive lounge.

Two fellow musicians soon joined the line-up: pianist and keyboardist Brandon Saeyvoet, who brought his expertise in electronic music, driving beats and house influences, and the versatile musician Lode Tooten, who plays the vibraphone in this line-up. Sax on Fire was born, ready to share their unique sound. They drew their inspiration from St. Germain, Klingande, Grover Washington Jr., Bellaire, and others...
