HONEY is an instrumental trio that emerged from a long-standing friendship and collaboration as a rhythm section. Eclectic grooves, lyricism, and good food form the foundation for their unique musical language—with echoes of Al Green, D’Angelo, and Ahmad Jamal. In 2023, they released their first EP, featuring guest musicians Jake Sherman (organist for Meshell Ndegeocello, Bilal, Andrew Bird, and others) and Wout Gooris. Three of their singles made it onto the Belgo Jazz Playlist, and “Bossa Dolce” was also released on vinyl on Sdban via Lefto’s Jazz Cats album.
