Jazz meets ragas.
The album explores the common ground between jazz and North Indian traditions, with room for raga structures, improvisation and composition. For this release concert, the band will be joined exceptionally by his mentor Asad Qizilbash, the only sarod player from Pakistan, who once played for Nelson Mandela and has a flawless command of this nine-stringed, melancholic instrument.
