Jazz Etterbeek

On the occasion of Jazz Etterbeek, Van Meyel Square will transform into an open-air jazz club for one day. A new festive day dedicated to jazz, organized by GC De Maalbeek, the Etterbeek Municipality, and the Etterbeek Cultural Center – Le Senghor, celebrating the richness and diversity of young jazz talent.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 6, at Van Meyel Square in Etterbeek and aims to explore jazz in all its forms, including contemporary sounds. It’s a wonderful opportunity to discover both emerging artists and musicians already recognized on the current jazz scene.

PROGRAM:

16:00 – Nite Kite
Nite Kite offers intimate, cinematic, and experimental neoclassical music that envelops the square in a dreamy atmosphere.

17:15 – Lichen
Lichen blends folk, chanson, jazz, and pop to create a rich and atmospheric Brussels-inspired universe.

18:45 – Jaqamaz
Jaqamaz brings together diverse cultures in an energetic mix of swing, blues, Arabic maqâms, and modern grooves.

20:15 – Jeroen Van Herzeele & Stéphane Galland
Jeroen Van Herzeele and Stéphane Galland take listeners on an electro-trance-jazz journey full of improvisation and complex rhythms.
