Barbara Wiernik – Between Whispers

Between Whispers is a dream come true. It is both a profound journey and a gathering of voices and souls from all over Europe. The project brought together twelve artists, six women and six men, from different countries. Four extraordinary singers – Elina Dunyi (Albania/Switzerland), Sofia Ribeiro (Portugal), Veronika Harcsa (Hungary) and David Linx (Belgium) – joined Barbara, accompanied by seven remarkable instrumentalists. Each piece features a unique line-up and tells its own story. The music on this album is a dialogue. The shared timbres, textures and vibrations meet and intertwine. The voices respond to each other, breathe together and soar both individually and collectively.

On stage, Barbara will bring these breaths to life alongside a singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer – extraordinary companions who, together, weave ever-changing soundscapes that are free, sensitive and vibrant, guided by the desire to let the unpredictable unfold.
