After a nine-year hiatus, international detours, and personal renewal, the De Groote-Faes Duo is back. This instrumental jazz duo, minimalist on paper, sounds compelling and moving to those who experience it live.
With just an electric guitar and a double bass, they build an intense, open soundscape in which classical depth and finesse coincide with contemporary, raw imagination.
With T i m e U n f o l d i n g, the new project based on the album to be released on February 13, 2026, they are taking the next step. Before their break, the duo played hundreds of concerts around their first two albums and built up a rock-solid live reputation.
Bruno De Groote was part of dEUS for three years (from 2018 to 2021).
Ben Faes played with Orquesta Tanguedia and Jokke Schreurs trio, among others.
