Guy Verlinde & The Artisans of solace

For the past two decades, Guy Verlinde (born 1976) has dominated the Belgian blues scene. He recorded 17 albums and played countless clubs and festivals, sharing the bill with greats like B.B. King, John Fogerty, Tony Joe White, Santana, John Hiatt, Canned Heat, and Jeff Beck. Guy Verlinde is one of the few Belgian blues artists to have built a solid live reputation throughout Europe. He possesses a unique ability to connect with his audience, moving and inspiring them time and again.

The Artisans of Solace are a group of top musicians with whom Guy has traveled extensively in the past. The rhythm section consists of bassist René Stock (Electric Kings, Last Call, etc.), one of the most sought-after session musicians in Wallonia, and Benoit Maddens, who also plays drums for top act Brihang. Additionally, the band is completed by two talented young instrumentalists, Tom Eylenbosch (piano & banjo) and Stef Paglia of The Bluesbones (electric guitar), masters of color with sound. A concert by The Artisans of Solace is an energetic journey, infused with stories of love, hope, and resurrection, rooted in the blues, roots, and Americana.
