By 2020, they had created around 50 compositions and presented programmes featuring Ukrainian ethno-jazz, modern jazz and even a unique programme for jazz quartet + string trio.

In early 2021, their song ‘Wake Up in the Morning’ was named ‘Best Jazz Composition of the Year’ by a Ukrainian chart.

Due to the large-scale invasion in 2022, the group ceased its activities and its members scattered around the world.

In the autumn of 2023, the founders of the project, Iryna Dubenko and Yaroslav Tovarianskyi, moved to Brussels, while Oleksiy Bogolyubov, who happened to be staying in Cologne, rejoined the group.

In January 2024, the band recorded their debut album, Eternal Changing, featuring eight original compositions. The album premiere took place on 15 January 2025 at the Sounds Jazz Club in Brussels and attracted an enthusiastic audience.

Advantage Project's latest milestone was winning the Dinant Jazz Competition on 27 July 2025. This earned them numerous valuable prizes, including a performance on the main stage of the Dinant Jazz Festival 2026.

The band is currently recording their second album, which is expected to be released in 2026.
