Quentin Dujardin returns with new irresistible melodies and fiery energy, supported by collaborators who need no introduction: Didier Laloy & Boris Schmidt. Each of their appearances leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of their audience.

Produced by Lee Townsend (Bill Frisell), this new album, SAISON ORANGE, is dedicated to the discreet guitar whose nylon strings paint infinite spaces. Painting landscapes remains an addiction for Quentin Dujardin. His journey of exploration with the instrument reflects his unwavering taste for adventure, a form of almost religious devotion: a link to his own inner self and the one that connects him to his audience.

The guitarist also confirms his attraction to lyrical flights of fancy, as evidenced in particular by the guest on this album, Norwegian trumpeter Mathias Eick. To close the album, he opens the door to covers with this stripped-down rendition of Stromae's “L'Enfer”.

Quentin Dujardin is an instinctive artist whose freedom seems boundless. He cultivates a taste for risk in order to reinvent his own musical universe and escape the constraints of being pigeonholed. SAISON ORANGE marks a turning point in the guitarist's discography, denouncing this ‘fifth season’: the one in which nature adorns itself between winter and spring; the season of the pesticide-covered fields around his village, turned orange by human intervention to create the illusion of better survival.
