Welcome to NELJA, a vibrant Belgian a cappella jazz project rooted in the heart of Brussels, the vibrant European capital. Inspired by the rich vocal jazz traditions of iconic groups like New York Voices, Manhattan Transfer, and The Real Group, NELJA embarks on a captivating journey through enchanting harmonies, spontaneous phrasing, and captivating melodies. Since its inception in the fall of 2022, our carefully coordinated voices have developed a unique blend, resulting in a musical experience that is both unique and captivating. With a mix of our own arrangements and existing classics, NELJA presents a musical journey that is both familiar and innovative.
