A unique concert to mark the 30th anniversary of the Maison du Jazz with Guy Cabay, living legend of Belgian jazz and inventor of the explosive bossa nova sung in Liège Walloon.

From Seville to Moscow, from America to Africa, Guy Cabay has performed everywhere, earning himself many nicknames: ‘Master of jazz vibes’, ‘King of swing wallon’, ‘Le plus brésilien des Liégeois’ or ‘Le plus carioca des Verviétois’.

At this concert, the singer, pianist and vibraphonist will be (re)discovering his own compositions. His original Walloon lyrics, with French subtitles, will be projected onto a screen for you to enjoy. He'll be adding a few new tracks to the programme, where groove and improvisation reign supreme.
