Formed in Norwich in 2012, Mammal Hands quickly established themselves as one of the most captivating acts on the contemporary jazz scene, thanks to their hypnotic fusion of jazz, electronic music, minimalism, and folk. Signed to Gondwana Records, the trio has released five critically acclaimed albums, including Gift from the Trees (2023), and has earned praise from artists like Bonobo, Jamie Cullum, and Gilles Peterson. Renowned for their intense and immersive live performances, they’ve played some of the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals—from the Köln Philharmonie and the Montreux Jazz Festival to La Cigale Paris, Tokyo, Montreal, and Athens. The trio is currently working on their sixth studio album.
