Jamtastic

Jamtastic is not just a group, it is a meeting, a vibrant crossroads where influences and energies from the four corners of the world intersect. Between funk, jazz, soul, afrobeat, electro and rock, Jamtastic weaves music that is lively, daring and in perpetual metamorphosis. Each note, each chord is an invitation to discover a new sound, merging the roots of the past and the promises of the future.

Brought together first by their common passion and the innovative tool that is the “Jamulus” platform, the members of the group first connected virtually, exchanging riffs, grooves and ideas, before embarking on writing and composing their first pieces. Their musical universe was built remotely, but it was in the heart of 2023, after years of digital collaboration, that they took the step of meeting in the flesh.

Formed in a global context where stages were deserted and concerts were almost impossible, Jamtastic was able to find a creative outlet in its virtual jam sessions. This dynamic, far from slowing them down, has nourished their resilience and their ability to transform challenges into opportunities. Music has become for them a bubble of escape, a remedy for gloom, a way of bringing a little light back to life.

The physical meeting in 2023 was a key moment, a real turning point in their journey. Together, they have refined a unique sound that is both cohesive and joyful, a fusion of jazz, limitless creativity and sonic innovation.

Around the talented drummer Jona Mottura, originally from Charleroi, the group finds a source of inspiration anchored in the roots of funk, jazz and soul. Its drums, both fluid and dynamic, combine the charm of vintage and the modernity of electronics.

Jona is surrounded by the musical excellence of André Louis on keyboards, Alf Tramontin on bass and Martin Scheppink on guitar. Each member of the group brings a cultural and musical richness that makes Jamtastic a truly international collaboration. Together, they constantly push the boundaries of their art, uniting their talents to create a unique musical experience, a sonic adventure, a bridge between cultures, a breath of fresh air in the global musical landscape. 

The meeting of these talents from varied backgrounds offers a sound as energetic as it is innovative, carried by a palpable complicity and endless passion. The journey has only just begun, definitely a discovery not to be missed!
