This Antwerp singer broke through in 1999 with the excellent album “Mud Stories” which she was able to present live on numerous European stages.

She also exercised her talents as an actress in a Flemish TV series; she has composed a large number of scores, notably for Jaco Van Dormael's film "The Brand New Testament" which received the Magritte Prize for the best soundtrack of the year.

An Pierlé is an explorer of sounds, open to all music, pop, classical, jazz...

She will be on the Bonne Source stage to present her brand new album to us, for a unique date in Wallonia!

“Ultimate Survival” offers uninhibited jazz tinged with pop that could be compared to David Bowie’s last album “Blackstar” mixing it with Prince and Alabama Shakes. Produced by Koen Gisen who also plays clarinet and tenor sax on stage with Hendrik Lasure on keyboards and Casper Van de Velde on drums and of course An Pierlé on vocals and piano.
