Jazz & More • Jean-Pierre Froidebise solo

At the Maison du Jazz, January is Blues month, as it is every year...
We'll be kicking off the 2025 festivities, still stamped "30 shades of blue", with a Jazz&More concert featuring prolific guitarist Jean-Pierre Froidebise. He's a guitarist, yes, but he's more than just a guitarist: his tasty lyrics swing between humor, outbursts, heartfelt moments and a great deal of self-mockery, all wrapped up in a very personal universe. From duo formations (with, among others, Steve Houben) to the Froidebise Orchestra and Such a Noise, his collaborations and projects are countless... but since 2011, he's also been expressing himself solo, accompanied by his guitars and sound processors (samplers, loopers, multi-effect pedals). A mix of compositions and covers, this is the formula he'll be using for his first appearance at Pelzer's Jazz Club on Friday, January 10, starting at 9pm.
