Amlou is an instrumental duo created in 2021 by Antoine Dawans on trumpet and Mohamed Dziri on guitar. Born of their obvious complicity, the project is minimalist, intimate and warm. Winners of the 2022 edition of the Sphères Sonores competition (the musical hub of the Province of Liège), their melodies are endearing and chiselled with swaying grooves. A comforting cocoon of inspiration drawn mainly from chanson, soul, jazz and pop, making the duo as melodic as they are unclassifiable. It's a delicious, sweet mix to discover and share with friends on the occasion of the release of their eagerly-awaited debut album, CASA. This event is part of the ‘30 shades of blue’ celebrations marking the thirtieth anniversary of the Maison du Jazz!
