A meeting of three master musicians at the cutting edge: that is how the trio of Jerome Sabbagh, Ben Monder and Daniel Humair can best be summed up. With a combined 140 years of jazz experience under their belt, each of their concerts remains a journey and an adventure.

In 2010, saxophonist Jerome Sabbagh, born and raised in Paris, and working in New York City since 1995, took the initiative for “I Will Follow You”, a recording with his regular companion Ben Monder on guitar and jazz legend Daniel Humair on drums. The album was released on the French Bee Jazz, and made a big impression. Years later, the trio is still sporadically active. Under the title “I Still Follow You”, the band is now undertaking a mini-tour that will take them to a number of locations in France and Switzerland and also includes one exclusive stop in Belgium, at the Hnita Jazz Club. Their program includes free improvised pieces, compositions written by Sabbagh for the trio, and the occasional jazz standard given a new look. Sabbagh, Monder and Humair live in the moment, their music is always spontaneous and powerful.
